HEY THERE! I'M HALEY!

Just a little bit about me...I was born & raised in southern Illinois. I graduated from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale with a Bachelor of Science degree. I studied business management and specialized in entrepreneurship. My other half & I have created our very own wedding venue, which works out perfectly with my photography business.

My mom gifted me my first camera when I was in high school. At that time, I was photographing friends & shooting in auto. lol! In 2018, when I became pregnant with my daughter, Justin & I decided to buy a new, professional camera. We wanted to use it to photograph our little girl. I knew then that buying the camera might turn into photographing others!! Well, I was right! We went from buying that camera to buying a new lens, laptop... then, being mentored by another photographer from Indiana... then, purchasing another camera, flash, more lenses, desktop, another flash...... and well, you get it!! lol! My love for photography has grown so much. I have learned so much over the years. I am a huge perfectionist & I never want to stop becoming BETTER.

I have always been fascinated by photography. It is a way to see ourselves and our connection between loved ones. I love being able to capture the intimate, heartfelt moments between families and couples. Our children will grow older. Our parents and grandparents will grow older. WE will grow older. Photography is a way to freeze time.
